Genny Factory SA presents Genny Zero™, an engineering achievement that redefines the boundaries of mobility. Born from visionary insight and years of research and development, Genny Zero™ is not simply an electric vehicle, but an unprecedented driving experience designed to make mobility accessible, inclusive and sustainable.
A story of passion and innovation
The birth of Genny Zero™ is closely linked to the journey of its creator, Paolo Badano, an entrepreneur who was left wheelchair-bound due to a car accident more than two decades ago.
Animated by the desire to move with autonomy, aesthetics, and performance, Paolo discovered a self-balancing vehicle that could be driven standing up in 2009, which inspired him to give birth to a new project. From that insight and years of development came Genny, and today Genny Zero™, a self-balancing electric two-wheeled vehicle designed for people with reduced mobility and urban micro-mobility.
Combining design and functionality, Genny Zero™ breaks patterns and breaks new ground in personal mobility: technology meets inclusion and reduces barriers in daily life.
Electric, autonomous, inclusive mobility
Genny Zero™ embodies self-balancing technology, intuitive riding, electric propulsion, and sustainability solutions. Unlike classic scooters, bicycles, or scooters, which require physical exertion, this vehicle offers a fully autonomous experience that is accessible to people with mobility difficulties.
Tackles gradients of up to 20 percent, supports up to 110 kg, and is equipped with dual 2 kW brushless motors, Italian-sourced 72 V / 7 Ah lithium-ion batteries, GSM module, GPS, satellite system, and cloud monitoring. The frame combines fiber-loaded polymers and aluminum for light weight and high performance.
Selection at the ADI Design Index 2025
Genny Zero™ has been selected for the 2025 edition of theADI Design Index, an exhibition of projects that represent Italian design excellence. The exhibition takes place at the ADI Design Museum in Milan from October 16 to 30, 2025.
This important mention testifies to how Genny Zero™ not only offers a technical solution, but manifests the social, aesthetic and cultural value of inclusive mobility.
